Amazing facilities with 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms, further bedroom all with luxury quality bedding/, towels and a large family bathroom.
Living accommodation was perfect with every mod con required and more, plenty to keep kids amused with large TV and DVD Xbox within games room and free Wi-Fi. Lovely touch of fresh food welcome pack to get you started with breakfast. Local shop and hotel within minutes’ walk. Large garden with 9 holes putting green, swings, tree swing, but also badminton or soft ball tennis bikes available too. Just not enough hours in the day to utilise everything provided. Large patio area with tables and chairs and BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining, whilst watching the local wildlife was amazing.
A visit on the Cairngorms funicular is a must, as is a trip to Loch Morlich. Thank you. A truly fabulous holiday experience and can’t wait to return.”

There is an epic swing from a big tree too – great fun. There are regular visits to the garden by roe deer, rabbits and red squirrels who seem quite unconcerned when people are about. Nethy Bridge is a delightful village with a well-stocked shop, a hotel which serves standard bar meals and an excellent butcher shop. You can easily cycle or walk in the network of paths and quiet roads in the immediate area with the wider area providing every possible opportunity for outdoor activity at any level. We enjoyed a short dinghy hire at Loch Morlich with our 5-year-old grandson. Facilities there were excellent with all equipment provided at a modest cost. Landmark at Carrbridge is another ‘must do’. You could, however, have a great holiday without spending a lot on these ‘special’ extras. It’s also well located for exploring the Moray Coast, Spey Valley Whisky Trail, Inverness, Fort George, Culloden – list could be long. We would highly recommend Balnagowan Mill and hope we’ll be back before long.”
